Racing Tyres Space: For those who have some time to kill

Every one of us needs some time for ourselves each day. Some time to relax and just spend doing nothing. There are so many things that occupy our time on a daily basis. Boring chores like waiting to catch a flight, waiting for the doctor, travelling on a bus and the like take a good amount of your time, and are spent doing nothing. It almost becomes essential to find some way to waste time then. If you want the same, then there’s something in store for you at the App Store in the iOS app Racing Tyres Space.

rt1Developed by Oliver Parra, Racing Tyres Space is a redefinition of undefined fun. The theme is very futuristic and the game has a modern look to it. The use of varying shades of blue adds to the futuristic effect and feel. This, coupled with the fast peppy music will ensure that you remain hooked to the game from the very beginning. The music is generally playing at 160 beats per minute to maintain the rhythm of the game. If it turns out to be distracting, you always have the option of turning it off. The developers have managed to maintain the interest of the players quite well throughout this game.

rt2The rules of the game are quite straightforward. You move, making your machine move along too. There is a platform labyrinth that you have to find your way through. At the same time, you are required to dodge obstacles as well, maintaining your speed high enough to be able to do so.

rt3The game requires you to have strong control on your phone or iOS device. You must tilt your device in such a way that it can control the steering wheel on your screen. The game mimics the controls of a normal car in this aspect. Based on the level you are in, the colour of your wheel will vary. While the levels themselves are not hard, it does take some time to get used to the controls of the game. Once you have achieved good control, the game becomes quite simple and easy.

It is wise to play a couple of trial runs before getting started on the game. The game is quite sensitive and responds even to shaking hands or other such movements. The speed of the game can go up to 220mph so a strong hold on the game controls is almost necessary. There are numerous tracks in this game, enough to keep you engaged for as long as you would like.

The game is priced at $ 0.99 on the App Store at present. Considering that it does not offer any great features in terms of concept or controls or interface, this price seems a bit more on the expensive side. Nonetheless, if you have nothing else to do for a while, this game is just what you need. It is best suited for spending some time doing just nothing but competing with yourself. If that is what you are looking for, then you should avail of this app for sure.

Good: Futuristic look and feel

Bad: The game gets boring after a few levels, is slightly expensive
