Ninflated : Finger Twister !

Suppose you’ve been asked to remember a tongue twister for a competition and you have to repeat it at least 5 times. The winner will be announced on the basis of the difficulty of the tongue twister and how clearly you say it. So you prepare continuously for a week and finally the day arrives. You’re the first contestant and after you’ve repeated the word 2 times, you’re suddenly stopped in the middle and asked to repeat the same tongue twister but in the opposite direction. Now what would you do? The question leaves you spellbound and you’re puzzled whether to quit or try another shot at it. The difficult it is to remember a tongue twister, the more difficult it is to erase it all from your memory and learn the opposite of it. I don’t think even a Ninja could do that. If you think you can do it, do it and prove you’re a Ninja.

nin1I am talking about the latest iOS app called Ninflated that has been developed by AppStreet Games Ltd. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 6.0 or any later version of the OS. This app has also been optimized for iPhone 5, iPhone 6 and iPhone 5 Plus.

nin2Ninflated is the story of a Ninja who’s going through his ancient training session of art of bubble riding and he must clear it to become a Ninja. The training session consists of horizontal boards layered one over the other with some gap in the middle. You have to go from the bottom to the top through these gaps. But the real is to understand the controls. Whenever you cross a board, there are some signs in the background that’ll tell you how to move left/right or up/down from that position. For example, if there is a white left/right sign on orange background, then you have to drag left/right to move Nin. On the contrary, if there is a circle then you have to tap on the left/right side of the screen to achieve the same. In some of the levels, the controls are inverted and therefore, what was moving Nin to the upward right earlier now brings him downward to the left. So now that you had finally found your way with the controls, they’ve been changed and that’s why the game’s always difficult to master.

nin3The graphics of the game are simple but delightful. It’s a very easy game to pick up but really hard to put down. Once you’re addicted to the gameplay, you’ll keep on playing more and more of it. After all, there are so many of your friends that you have to defeat who’re continuously posting their high scores on the Leaderboard.

The app is available for free in the App Store. What more can you ask for!

Pros: delightful graphics; addictive gameplay; challenging controls to remember; hard to master; free.

Cons: none.
