It’s always difficult to understand how the nervous mechanism of the oldies works. They can leave you stupefied and flabbergasted at times. They’re caring, loving and possess the best decorum of decency and calmness. But take that one thing out of their eye-sight that they love the most and you’ll soon figure out the antonym of their personality reprimanding you like a Army Commander. So if you’re bestowed upon with a Grumpy Granny, you’d never want to make her put her true colours on display, do you? But you’ve left her no other option by letting all her cute little kittens get out under the blazing sun. But instead of bemoaning upon your mistakes, you can take out your hands off your pockets, get in your sports shoes and start the mission. It might be a lot of fun and you’d save yourself from facing your Scurrilous “hot-head” Granny! So let’s roll!
I’m talking about the latest iOS app called Grumpy Granny that has been developed by Matteo Priora. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 7.0 or any later version of the OS. This app has also been optimized for iPhone 5, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
Grumpy Granny is a funny-but-beautiful game. It’s funny because of the “cranky” storyline in the backdrop and beautiful because love is at its core. It’s literally true as amidst the game, you’d be asked to bring some medicines for your Granny from the road-side medical store and the good news is that your granny has a crush on the century-old owner of the store. Moreover, the medicines will calm her down to your rescue.
But back to the gameplay, here you have to pick as many kittens as possible avoiding all the obstacles that might deter your journey. The gameplay might be called as “moderate” to start with but as the time goes by, the “extremism” starts approaching you from both sides; first for the gameplay and second for the about-to-go-insane Granny. She’s impatient for her kitties and you must acknowledge her anxiety with utmost performance.
It’s an endless journey but there are lot more than just kittens to follow. There are some special kittens that’ll fetch you extra points. And then there’s an opportunity to uncover an entire new series of Grumpy Granny which means continuing your journey to a different planet altogether.
The gameplay is addictive and I should say “infectious” because there’s always an urge to score better and it never dies out. The graphics are elegant with a little pinch of flamboyancy to make sure the equation for attraction gets properly balanced.
So summing it up, I’d definitely recommend Grumpy Granny to all the users. The app is available for free in the App Store. So if there’s any excuse that you can find to avoid this one, do let me know because I couldn’t manage to find one.
