Photo-Radar-Place Your Memories on the World Map
If you are an adventure freak, then you must be visiting many places for trekking and mountaineering. But no matter how many times you visit similar places, there are always some unique memories associated with every visit of a place. Just like the same food tastes different when added different spices, a trip can’t replicate itself even a single time. While images store your memories, what if you could mark the place in your dictionary so that whenever you visit it again, you can remind all those moments at a glance!
We are talking about the new iOS app, Photo Radar that has been developed by STDM Apps. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 3.2 or later version. When you open up the app, the interface takes you to a Google Map with option on the top to add images. As you tap the button, your photo library opens up to add images. One of the major plus points of the app here is that it allows you to select multiple photos at the same time. This serves to save up your time as most of the times; we have many photos to be added to the same place.
When you add the photos to a location, the GPS coordinates of that location are shown. However, the exact date can be checked out by tapping the location. You can copy/paste the coordinates to your clipboard as well. Moreover, the app takes full advantage of the Google Maps features. Just tap on the Maps option for a coordinate and the app will take you to Google Maps on the same coordinate. Then, you can find directions and use all Google Maps features to reach that place.
The interface of the app is standard, clean and easy to operate. The app is very user friendly and takes full advantage of the integrated Maps application. Also, with Google Maps, things automatically get easier and broader, unlike Apple Maps with limited information. One another addition to the plus list is that the app features a no. of regional languages like English, French, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish which further enhances the app utility for local support.
The app is available for $0.99 in the App Store. Though the price is completely justified, if you are not willing to pay the amount and want to try it first, there is a lite version available for free. There are no limited features except that you can only add images which are maximum 15 days old or less.
The app works great. There are many notable features including the integration of Google Maps and multiple image selection. However, the maps may take a little bit time to load depending upon your data connection. But remember that there is nothing faulty with the app rather a related problem which is obvious to occur in any such similar app. you can view App Video Here.
